  3.       Editorial by Ozz/Excalibur
  4. ======================================
  5. This is just a brief introduction
  6. to the contents of the latest attempt
  7. at an American magazine. This first
  8. issue has been done entirely in 
  9. sequential format. Further issues
  10. may change, it is undecided at this
  11. point in time. If in the future you
  12. would like to submit any articles
  13. for Top Priority you may do so by
  14. uploading them in sequential format
  15. to Mysts of Avalon. The number is
  16. common knowledge by now. The charts
  17. are done in two parts, first of all
  18. there is a chart based on Release
  19. Points and secondly another based
  20. on the Popular Vote. Afterwards you
  21. will also find a Combined Chart,
  22. this in effect takes each groups
  23. place in each of the charts and 
  24. combines them to form the third 
  25. chart. I'm sure after the charts
  26. are examined there will be those
  27. who complain about thier posistion,
  28. but thats life, if you want a high
  29. standing posistion, either release
  30. more or campaign for more votes.
  31. I've tried to poll as many people
  32. as possible from all sides of the
  33. scene to improve exactness. That
  34. pretty much sums up the explanation
  35. of the charts. Everything else is
  36. just news. Enjoy!

  38.       You Know Your Elite When..

  58.   card so your contacts can give
  59.   you their latest first release.
  60. - You only leave your room to use
  61.   the bathroom (and only if you're
  62.   not importing a game!)
  63. - Everyday you get phonecalls from
  64.   telephone companies with names
  65.   you can't pronounce asking who's
  66.   been calling you from overseas
  67.   and every state in the U.S.
  68. - You haven't changed clothes for
  69.   a month and flies are swarming
  70.   around your head.
  71. - You accidentally call your mom
  72.   by one of your contacts handles.
  73. - The sunlight hurts your eyes.
  74. - Your mom has to call you on your
  75.   phone and do an emergency break-
  76.   thru to tell you dinner is ready.
  77. - You find phone numbers on your
  78.   desk of people you don't even know.
  79. - You don't recognize you friends
  80.   because you haven't seen them in
  81.   months.
  82. - You start cussing your parents
  83.   out in multiple languages.
  84. - Your computer friends outnumber
  85.   your real life friends 4 to 1.
  86. - You're fucking your girlfriend
  87.   and you ask her how to turn on
  88.   the trainer mode.
  89. - You drop out of school to import
  90.   games.
  91. - You insist that your computer be
  92.   in the family portrait.
  93. - The only sex you get is over the
  94.   phone.

  104. [SC] I've been in the scene about
  105.      3 years, I started about the
  106.      same time as NEC. The first
  107.      board I ever got on was Garden
  108.      of Eden Hq.
  109. [TP] What groups have you been in?
  110. [SC] Verdict (as an At&t Hacker),
  111.      Attackers, and now NEI. I started
  112.      in the wares scene then went
  113.      to the H/P scene for awhile
  114.      and now I'm back in the wares
  115.      scene again.
  116. [TP] Why is it when you joined NEI
  117.      South of Heaven became NEI Hq
  118.      and you don't even run the board?
  119. [SC] Because Roy took down MBS's
  120.      board and I asked if NEI wanted
  121.      South of Heaven as their Hq.
  122.      Reign in Blood and South of
  123.      Heaven are both names of Slayer
  124.      albums. 
  125. [TP] What groups have supported South
  126.      of Heaven?
  127. [SC] Verdict, then Verdict died,
  128.      and about two weeks later we
  129.      picked up NEI, and now we may
  130.      pick up Verdict, since they
  131.      are back, or Censor.
  132. [TP] What did you do as a member
  133.      of Attackers?
  134. [SC] I was just sysop of Soul Pit,
  135.      I hacked At&t's every once in
  136.      awhile, but mainly just a sysop.
  137. [TP] Do you consider yourself elite?
  138. [SC] I don't like that word.
  139. [TP] Do you consider yourself a better
  140.      hacker than MBS?
  141. [SC] Definently, I have ways of 
  142.      getting At&ts without voice
  143.      hacking, by using a police 
  144.      scanner and monitoring calls
  145.      made from boats.
  146. [TP] Do you feel you are a proper
  147.      replacement for MBS?
  148. [SC] Yea, pretty much, I didn't see
  149.      MBS! doing much, he wasn't in
  150.      the scene long enough so I didn't
  151.      he belonged in NEI.
  152. [TP] How many cards do you hack a
  153.      week?
  154. [SC] Depends, 4-5, on a good weekend
  155.      I can get 8-9. I only hack on
  156.      weekends.
  157. [TP] Why is it rumors say you haven't
  158.      supplied any to NEI?
  159. [SC] I've supplied 4 in one week.

  164. [SC] Both. I'm a social engineer,
  165.      but if I need codes I load up
  166.      Multi-hack and I hack them.

  192.      they are doing now, just import-
  193.      ing, I can't see anyone dropping
  194.      out, I believe NEI will be around
  195.      until there are no wares left.

  199.      not like I'm a big member.

  541.   some unknown case of phone vd.
  542.   It is also rumored that he has
  543.   a bad case of tendonitis in his
  544.   right hand.
  545. - Zsolt went out on Halloween dressed
  546.   as Ronald McDonald. 
  547. - Sir Cyro was picked up by the 
  548.   U.S.Coast Gaurd for piloting an
  549.   illegal vessel in U.S. waters.
  550.   The detailed report listed his
  551.   inventory as 1 Police Scanner,
  552.   1 Hasbro Rubber Duckie Float Tube,
  553.   1 Cordless Telephone. He was later
  554.   charged with telephone anarchy
  555.   and a violation of marine safety
  556.   codes, also picked up out of the
  557.   water was a soggy list of inter-
  558.   national telephone numbers. The
  559.   matter is still under investigation.
  560. - TBB made a new friend during his
  561.   latest jail visit, it is rumored
  562.   he is trying to get "Otis" into
  563.   the scene.
  564. - Horizon gave out his extra happy
  565.   toys to Halloween trick or treaters.
  566. - Richie/Enigma installed a new roof
  567.   on Powerplant's house, it still
  568.   leaks so PWP is taking him to court.
  569. - X-factor's girlfriend dumped him
  570.   when she found him in bed with
  571.   his computer.
  572. - Skandle is #1 on the KKK's ten
  573.   most wanted list.
  574. - The Ozz's girlfriend LaFita dumped
  575.   him when she found out his wasn't
  576.   really black. It seems they had
  577.   only conversed over the phone which
  578.   explains the mixup.
  579. - Peter was arrested for playing
  580.   with his name.
  581. - The Shadow is inactive until he
  582.   finds a new computer since his
  583.   mom became annoyed at his constant
  584.   phone use and used her crowbar
  585.   on his computer.
  586. - The Ozz was asked to guest star
  587.   on the Dukes of Hazard reunion
  588.   special.
  589. - X-factor finally harvested his
  590.   potato crop and bought an Amiga
  591.   3000 with all the money he earned.
  592. - Dead Zeppelin was seen in a local
  593.   bar doing reggae versions of Elvis
  594.   songs.
  595. - It turns out Grim Reaper is only
  596.   12 years old, he went to Radio
  597.   Shack and bought a voice changer
  598.   to make his voice sound older.
  599. - Fletch was pissed off because he
  600.   didn't get to release Chevy Chase.
